Browsing this site does not require an account and we do not ask you to identify yourself to read any page. Two things are collected automatically. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs - IP address, browser, the page requested, the time - to serve the site and defend it from abuse. And Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, records how the site is used: pages viewed, device and approximate location derived from IP, and which buttons are clicked.
What we ask Analytics to record about clicks is deliberately narrow: which offer or class a booking button was for, which section of the page it sat in, whether the timetable was viewed, and whether someone tapped the phone, WhatsApp or email links. Class names and coach names are in that data. Nothing that identifies you is.
Google Analytics sets cookies to tell one visit from another. Blocking them in your browser, or using an ad or tracker blocker, stops that and the site still works. Google publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Analytics on every site: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
The site itself stores a few small values in your own browser to remember a display preference and to show the current photographs on your next visit. They never leave your device and we cannot read them. Clearing your site data removes them.
We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels on this site. Our typefaces are served from our own domain rather than a font network, so reading a page does not announce your visit to a third party.
Classes, passes and memberships are booked and paid for through Mindbody, not on this site. When you follow a booking button you leave venice.primalmoves.com and Mindbody's own privacy policy governs what you enter there, including payment details. We never see or store your card. Inside Mindbody we hold what a gym needs to hold: your name, contact details, your bookings and attendance, your membership and its billing history, and the liability waiver you sign before your first visit.
If you give us your email address or mobile number - on this site, at the front desk, or on a form - we use Klaviyo to send you studio news, schedule changes and offers. Consent is separate for email and for text, it is never a condition of buying anything, and you can withdraw it at any time: unsubscribe in any email, or reply STOP to any text. This site has no shopping cart and no checkout, so we do not track abandoned carts and we do not send abandoned-cart messages. If that ever changes this policy will be updated first to say exactly how an incomplete purchase is detected.
We share personal information only with the services that run the studio, and only so they can do their job: Mindbody for booking, payment and membership; Klaviyo for email and text messages; Google Analytics for site usage; Cloudflare for hosting. We also share information where the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not track your location. Google Analytics estimates a city or region from your IP address, which is the only location data this site produces, and it is not precise and not tied to you by name. The studio address links on this site open Google Maps in a new tab; nothing about where you are is sent when the page loads.
Booking, membership and waiver records are kept for as long as you are a member and then for as long as tax, insurance and liability rules require. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Analytics data is kept on Google's standard retention schedule. Server logs are kept briefly, for security.
If you live in California, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to have it deleted or corrected, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. Wherever you live, you can ask us for the same things and we will do it. Email hellovenice@primalmoves.com and we will respond within the time the law allows. We may need to verify who you are before acting on a request about someone's records.
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 through it. Kids’ classes are booked by a parent or guardian, who provides the child’s details and consents on their behalf.
We update this policy when what we do changes. The date at the top is when it last changed, and the version here is the current one.
